1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website biletes.okoncerts.lv, purchasing a ticket, or attending an event organized by Rīgas Mūzikas biedrība (the “Organizer”, “Company”, “we”, “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not purchase tickets or attend our events.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer”, “Attendee”, “you”) and the Organizer. They apply to all ticket purchases, event attendance, and use of the ticketing platform.

2. The Organizer

3. Ticket Purchase

All tickets are electronic and contain a unique QR code. Tickets are delivered to the email address provided at checkout and, where the Customer has opted in, also via WhatsApp. Each ticket is valid for a single admission to the specified event and showtime only.

A ticket purchase is complete and binding once payment has been confirmed by our payment processor. By completing a purchase, the Customer confirms that all information provided is accurate and that they are authorized to use the payment method.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel orders that appear fraudulent, were made using unauthorized payment methods, or that violate these Terms.

4. Ticket Transferability

Tickets may be transferred to another person free of charge by forwarding the ticket email, provided the original QR code remains valid. The Organizer is not responsible for tickets forwarded to incorrect recipients.

Commercial resale of tickets at prices exceeding the original face value is strictly prohibited. The Organizer reserves the right to void any ticket found to have been resold commercially and to deny entry to the bearer of such ticket without refund.

5. Seating

All seats are numbered and assigned. Attendees must occupy the seat indicated on their ticket. The Organizer reserves the right to reassign seats due to operational, safety, or accessibility requirements.

Attendees arriving after the scheduled start time will be seated at the discretion of venue staff during appropriate pauses in the performance (e.g., between pieces or during applause). Late arrivals are not guaranteed their assigned seat if it cannot be reached without disrupting the audience.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the website include applicable taxes. Prices may vary between different events, showtimes, and seating zones. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; however, once a purchase is completed, the confirmed price is final.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. The Organizer does not store or have access to full payment card details.

7. Refund Policy

Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary:

  • 72+ hours before the event: full refund minus card processing fee (up to 2%)
  • Under 72 hours before the event: refund available only with ticket protection
  • After the scheduled event start time: no refund

The complete terms, including definitions and procedures, are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

8. Event Modifications and Cancellations

The Organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event, including but not limited to changes in performing artists, programme, start time (by up to 60 minutes), or seating configuration, without such changes constituting grounds for a refund.

In the event of a venue change, the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable or better venue and will notify ticket holders via the email address associated with their purchase.

If the Organizer cancels an event entirely and does not reschedule it, all ticket holders will receive a full refund to their original payment method.

If an event is postponed to a new date, tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. Ticket holders who cannot attend the new date may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the postponement announcement.

9. Force Majeure

The Organizer shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government orders or restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, power failures, severe weather, venue unavailability due to emergency, or acts of God (collectively, “Force Majeure Events”).

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, the Organizer will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or provide a refund. The Organizer’s liability in connection with a Force Majeure Event shall be limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.

10. Venue Rules and Code of Conduct

Personal photography and video recording without flash are permitted for private, non-commercial use only. By attending, you agree not to:

  • Use flash photography or professional recording equipment without prior written consent
  • Livestream, broadcast, or publicly distribute any audio or video recording of the performance

12. Children and Minors

Concerts are generally open to all ages. Evening concerts starting at 21:00 or later are recommended for children aged 7 and above. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for their behavior and holds a valid ticket.

If a child’s behavior disrupts the performance, the accompanying adult will be asked to leave the venue with the child. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

Ticket purchases for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Organizer’s total aggregate liability arising from or in connection with a ticket purchase, event attendance, or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the ticket(s) in question.
  • The Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, travel costs, accommodation costs, or any other costs incurred in connection with attending or failing to attend an event.
  • The Organizer is not liable for loss of, theft of, or damage to personal property brought to the venue by attendees.
  • The Organizer is not liable for any injury or harm resulting from the attendee’s own actions, failure to follow safety instructions, or pre-existing medical conditions.

Events may involve stage effects such as fog, haze, strobe lighting, amplified sound, or candle/flame elements. Attendees with photosensitive conditions, respiratory sensitivities, or other health concerns attend at their own risk and should consult a medical professional if unsure.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by the Organizer’s negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its officers, employees, partners, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your conduct at the venue; or (c) any misrepresentation made by you in connection with a ticket purchase.

15. Data Protection

Personal data collected in connection with ticket purchases and event attendance is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably by contacting the Organizer at info@okoncerts.lv. The Organizer will endeavor to respond within 14 calendar days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 calendar days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Latvia, with jurisdiction in Rīga.

Consumers residing in the European Union may also submit complaints to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.

18. Amendments

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be published on the website with the revised date. Continued use of the ticketing platform or attendance at events after such modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated to existing ticket holders via email where practicable.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the Customer’s country of residence shall apply where required by applicable law.
