New Year’s Concert “The Nutcracker” — Music from the Ballet There are some things that are impossible to imagine without December. The sparkling lights of the city streets. The scent of fir trees and mandarins. And the music of “The Nutcracker” — a masterpiece that has been filling Christmas and New Year celebrations around the world for more than a century. For many, attending “The Nutcracker” has become a cherished winter tradition. We invite you to share this special evening with us and welcome the magic of the holiday season together. A quintet of harp, violin, cello, percussion and organ will perform the most beloved fragments from Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet. Familiar melodies from childhood will reveal new colours in an extraordinary arrangement, while the unique atmosphere of St. Paul’s Church, candlelight and festive decorations will create a truly magical experience. Some traditions are the ones we always want to return to. Perhaps one of them will begin right here. *The musicians are located in the main area of the church, in front of the altar. Concert duration: ~1 hour 10 minutes.
